What to Wear for First Reconciliation (Confession) and First Communion

 First Confession 

For the Community Service is March 29th in Church at 7:00 pm, please arrive no later than 6:45 pm.  And for the regularly scheduled Confession times (Saturdays at 3 pm in English and Sundays at 11:30 am in Spanish) or by appointment.  Children should wear clothes appropriate for Sunday Mass and that show the dignity and respect for the sacrament.  

Photos or videos are not to be taken during the Reconciliation (Confession) Service.  Taking photos violates the confidentiality of the celebration and distracts persons praying during the celebration.  Please feel free to take photos after the service.    

First Communion

Arrive at church no later than 15 minutes before Mass.  Children should wear their Sunday best.  Boys typically wear a dress shirt, long pants, and tie.  Suit jackets are not required.  Polo shirts with collars are fine. Girls typically wear white dresses.  Veils are not required.  If girls are wearing gloves, they must take them off before Communion and can put them back on after receiving Communion.

Photos or videos are not to be taken during Mass.  Taking photos distracts persons praying the Mass.  Please feel free to take photos after Mass.   Every effort will be made for the Mass to be live streamed.  Live-streamed Masses are archived for a limited time
